1. Isaiah Simmons
College: Clemson
Height: 6’4″, Weight: 238
There’s not much you can’t do with Isaiah Simmons. He’s capable of blitzing, picking up guys in pass coverage, and has incredible instincts. Defensive coordinators dream about guys like this and he has the potential to be the centerpiece of a defense as a linebacker/safety hybrid.

2. Kenneth Murray
College: Oklahoma
Height: 6’2″, Weight: 241
One of my favorite defensive prospects. A very aggressive linebacker who was capable as a blitzer and a run defender. He’s quick to close out on plays and showed some potential as a cover guy. He’ll be able to step in immediately and become a 3-down linebacker.

3. Patrick Queen
College: LSU
Height: 6’0″, Weight: 229
A one-year starter with killer upside. He’s quick to react on plays and closes strong. He was also great as a coverage linebacker and picked up both tight ends and running backs. If he continues his trajectory, he could be a steal in the later parts of the first round.

4. Zack Baun
College: Wisconsin
Height: 6’2″, Weight: 238
A versatile linebacker who doubles as a pass rusher and can fit in a variety of defensive packages. Speed is his game and how he makes his impact. Baun also did a solid job in coverage when asked to pick up tight ends and running backs.

5. Josh Uche
College: Michigan
Height: 6’1″, Weight: 245
An undersized linebacker/EDGE rusher mix who will likely spend most of his time at linebacker in the NFL. He flashed potential in coverage and was effective in shoving tight ends off their routes. He also did a solid job in shoring up run plays.
