2020 Prospect Rankings

QB | RB | WR | TE | OL | DL | EDGE | LB | CB | S

1. Xavier McKinney
College: Alabama
Height: 6’0″, Weight: 201
A very versatile safety who’s capable of filling in at corner when necessary. Xavier McKinney is intelligent and quick to diagnose plays. His aggressive demeanor is enjoyable to watch as he’s always looking to cause a turnover whether it be an interception or ripping the ball away from the ball carrier.

2. Antoine Winfield Jr.
College: Minnesota
Height: 5’9″, Weight: 203
His small size may cause him to fall out of the first round, but Antonie Winfield Jr. has the tools you want. He follows the ball well and when making his move can shed blockers to finish up a play. He seals plays off well and is quick to react to any trickery such as end-arounds.

3. Grant Delpit
College: LSU
Height: 6’2″, Weight: 213
A once highly-touted safety prospect, Grant Delpit’s tackling struggles are concerning. When he does make a tackle it can be a crushing blow. He was also used well as a blitzer and could quickly blow up plays. His coverage skills and diagnosing is strong as well. If teams are confident they can fix his tackling, they may get a day 2 steal.

4. Kyle Dugger
College: Lenoir-Rhyne
Height: 6’1″, Weight: 217
He’ll face the obvious concerns about the competition he played against, which is understandable. Some of offenses were not too far off from the complexity of a high school’s. But Kyle Dugger did display terrific awareness and was one of the more punishing hitters I watched this year. Pair that with his size and athleticism, someone will be very happy to take him on day two.

5. Terrell Burgess
College: Utah
Height: 5’11”, Weight: 202

An athletic safety who is quick to read plays and perfectly capable of making cross-field tackles. Terrell Burgess is an intelligent defender who has strong diagnosing skills. Burgess also has loads of experience as a special teamer. His size is a concern and you could sense he feels the same way with his at times timid blitzes.
