Tight Ends

QB | RB | WR | TE | OL | DL | EDGE | LB | CB | S

1. TJ Hockenson
College: Iowa

Height: 6’5″, Weight: 251
TJ Hockenson was a real treat to watch. At times it almost seemed unfair to throw to him because of how dominant he can be. He’s a strong blocker and has great athleticism. His hands are exceptional and almost always requires multiple defenders to bring him down. Hockenson looks like a slam dunk pick for any team in need of a tight end.

2. Noah Fant
College: Iowa

Height: 6’4″, Weight: 249
An unbelievable athlete, Noah Fant is an intriguing pick at tight end. His athleticism allows him the ability to line out wide and is a match-up nightmare for defenders. Fant also proved himself to be a competent blocker. Drops remain a glaring negative and he’ll have to improve his route running to reach his full potential.

3. Irv Smith
College: Alabama

Height: 6’2″, Weight: 242
At least initially, Irv Smith should be relied on as a pass catcher only. Subpar blocking is a major issue for him. But, he displays good quickness and is able to get solid separation from linebackers. Smith is also a difficult tackle and pushes for those extra yards after initial contact.

4. Kaden Smith
College: Stanford

Height: 6’5″, Weight: 255
Kaden Smith isn’t fancy but he’s reliable. Smith is a competent blocker and had good hands. He frequently displayed his strength after the catch and was often targeted late in the game. His main negative is his lack of athleticism.

5. Kahale Warring
College: San Diego State

Height: 6’5″, Weight: 252
A big-bodied tight end with fantastic athleticism to match. Kahale Warring is great at positioning and comfortable catching passes in traffic. Warring is also an effective blocker.
