2018 NFL Draft Prospect Rankings

Running Backs

QB | RB | WR | TE | OT | G | C | DE | DT | EDGE | OLB | MLB | CB | S

1. Saquon Barkley
College: Penn State
Height: 6’0″, Weight: 233
I’ll end up repeating everything you’ve already heard about Saquon Barkley. This guy is smooth and played such a huge part in Penn State’s offense. He does everything well. He has great hands, excellent run power, and elusiveness. At times he can explode through a hole or drive a pile. Even in a draft class this deep, Barkley warrants a top five pick. He has all-time great potential.

2. Derrius Guice
College: LSU
Height: 5’10”, Weight: 212
It seemed liked every time Derrius Guice touched the ball it was a positive play. A good strong back who may be one of the toughest tackles in the draft. Any defense trying to tackle Guice is going to have send multiple guys. Guice is always reliable for yards after contact as well. Definitely a player who can be a number one back in the NFL.

3. Sony Michel
College: Georgia
Height: 5’11”, Weight: 220
One my favorite guys to watch in the draft. He fits every cliche for a quick running back. He has amazing speed, elusiveness, and great hands. His breakaway speed is surprising for someone his size and he has nice power as well. Another guy I’m confident can be a number one back at the next level.

4. Rashaad Penny
College: San Diego State
Height: 5’11”, Weight: 220
One of the most dangerous players in the open field. Rashaad Penny is very fast and agile. When he has space Penny is one of the toughest guys to bring down. Penny also packs a little bit of punch when he runs as well. I sound like a broken record but if you’re a team in need of a number one guy at running back this is the draft to get them.

5. Kerryon Johnson
College: Auburn
Height: 6’0″, Weight: 212
The most patient runner in the draft. Staying cool and calm with the ball in his hands, Kerryon Johnson is great at finding running lanes. Not the quickest or strongest but a nice steady runner. One of those guys who I wasn’t particularly ‘wowed’ by much but at the same time is solid across the board. Johnson is a strong pass blocker as well.
